Why landscape photography?

I’m Finney, a landscape photography enthusiest based on the Gold Coast. Driven by a fascination with natural light and rugged landscapes, I seek out the perspectives that often go unnoticed.

Every image in my collection is captured on-location, often before sunrise or long after sunset, when the landscape feels most alive. I spend hours scouting, waiting and returning to the same places until the light, weather and mood all line up.

I chose acrylic as my medium because it brings these moments as close as possible to how they felt in real life. The depth, clarity and gloss of acrylic give each print a window‑like quality, so you don’t just see the scene—you feel like you’re standing inside it.

My goal is simple: to bring the magic of nature into your home or workspace. Whether it’s a calm ocean, a dramatic storm front or a glowing mountain range, I want each piece to create a daily pause—a reminder to breathe, look up and reconnect with the world outside.

Why Acrylic?

Art should be as immersive as the moment it was captured. That is why these works are presented exclusively as high-resolution acrylic prints. Unlike traditional framing, acrylic glass offers a unique set of benefits for the modern home:

  • Unrivaled Depth: The light reflects within the acrylic layer, creating a "3D" effect that makes colors pop and shadows feel infinite.

  • Edge-to-Edge Clarity: High-resolution files are printed with precision, ensuring that even the smallest details of a mountain range or a forest floor remain crisp.

  • Durability: Acrylic is shatter-resistant and provides built-in UV protection, ensuring your investment remains vibrant for decades.

All prints will will use a support frame hanging system which adds rigidity and allows easy wall mounting with a floating effect.

Please take extra care cleaning acrylic as it is susceptible to scratching if not handled properly.

To clean your acrylic/perspex use one of the following:

  • Dry microfibre

  • Damp microfibre cloth*

  • Feather duster

*Please note do not use any products made for standard glass on the acrylic sheets as it may permanently damage them. We recommend using only water, or a special acrylic cleaning solution from your local hardware store.
